What are JCrafts’ hours of operation?

JCrafts is open to the public on Sundays, federal holidays, and during the week over the summer season. JCrafts is available to conduct workshops for private group events throughout the week, please click here for more details. How long is each workshop?

The duration of the JCrafts workshops is anywhere from 60-90 minutes.

Workshops are designed for children and adults, and there are separate workshops catering to each age group. Click here to view the current schedule.

Is there a fee for toddlers?

There is no charge for children ages 0-2.

Is JCrafts a safe environment?

Your children will be safe at JCrafts, there are no dangerous machines or elements that pose a hazard.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of parking lot outside the facility.

What is the goal of JCrafts’ workshops?

JCrafts seeks to bring mitzvot to life through innovative and hands-on workshops, and infuse century-old festivals and customs with excitement and meaning. Visit the Workshop Portfolio to discover the goal of each particular series.

Is the Kosher Chocolate Factory nut-free?

The vast majority of products used at JCrafts do not contain nuts as an ingredient. In the event that a nut-ingredient product is used, the audience will be informed ahead of time. Some products are manufactured using the same equipment as nuts.

What is the Kosher certification for Chocolate Series workshops?

The ‘Bean-to-Bar’ workshop is Pareve, and the products used in this track are under the OK Kosher certification. Items used in truffle-making workshop are mostly dairy. The chocolate and fillings are Chalav Yisrael. The chocolate itself is Badatz Yerushalayim, and the fillings are under (Rabbi B'tzalel) Klein and the likes. All product packaging is stored on-site and may be viewed upon request.

Do I get to take anything home at the Kosher Chocolate Factory?
