JCrafts Experiential Center
— Capital Campaign, Spring 2021 —
JCrafts by Chabad will soon have a permanent location.
Since the launch of JCrafts in 2012, it was an integral part of the vision to establish a center. Creating a physical space would be critical to making the innovative hands-on workshops available to the many thousands of Jewish families in the Greater Washington area and beyond.

Last year, over the summer, JCrafts by Chabad piloted a program called The Kosher Chocolate Factory. The educational and gastronomical adventure exposes children to the world of culinary history in a way that they can taste, touch, and smell. Participants explore the role that food plays in Jewish culture, the fascinating history of Jews and chocolate, and gain insight into the kosher diet and food production.
The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive.
The success of the program set the tone to make the JCrafts vision a reality. The project will involve two phases. The first phase will see JCrafts lease a 2,000 sf space for a three-year period. Following phase one, the project will move into phase two with the purchase of a larger space that will become the permanent home of JCrafts Educational Center.
Please partner with us to make this dream a reality!
Sincerely,
Rabbi Levi Raskin JCrafts / Director
