Take Home: Chocolate!
Children and adults throughout DC, Virginia, and Maryland have been experiencing the thrill of The Great Jewish Chocolate Factory.
From apples and honey on the Jewish New Year to latkes on Chanukah, from gefilte fish to matzah balls – it is impossible to ignore the role that food plays in Jewish life. Now more than ever, an astounding number of products in the U.S. and around the world are certified as kosher. What does it all mean and what can it teach us about the things we put in our mouths?
The Great Jewish Chocolate Factory is a gastronomical adventure that is finger-licking good! Participants mold their own chocolate creations while exploring the messages and the meaning of the food they eat. This workshop is designed to engage all the senses and can be fully customized to suit the unique needs of your group. And for the first time, we are available to present for camp groups this summer.
So, what are you waiting for? Schedule a session and indulge!
Please note: The program is not limited to the subject of kosher. Other available themes are Shabbat (creating full-size challahs and kiddush wine bottles etc.), Chanukkah, and birthday parties. Please contact JCrafts for more information on this.
